As Head of R&D, I am responsible for the development of new products (home care and professional peels) by ensuring compliance with our formulation charter, identifying trends in formulas and actives and defining launch opportunities. I also ensure the improvement of current formulas for market or regulatory needs, coordinate product launches right up to commercialization to ensure optimal project progress, and ensure that the brand objective is properly executed with the R&D team.
Product development concepts are driven and initiated by the scientific expertise of the R&D department and not by a purely marketing concept. The R&D team closely accompanies the launch of a product right up to the time it is released in-market. Thus, at each stage, the scientific added value of the product is highlighted and maximized. For the past 8 years, as R&D manager at Dermaceutic, I have had the opportunity to see the company evolve towards a new, more modern era, in line with its original DNA: skin science.

My job is to supervise the Sales and Training teams. The Sales team is responsible for managing Dermaceutic's representatives in each of the countries in which we operate. The Training team is responsible for developing an effective training program and providing scientific and educational content to ensure the correct use of Dermaceutic products by healthcare professionals.
I particularly appreciate the richness of the job and the human dimension. It is extremely rewarding to be in contact with people from different backgrounds and cultures.

As a formulator, my role is to respond to precise specifications, prospecting for new raw materials and ensuring the stability of the finished product. Cosmetic formulation combines the rigor of science with the sensoriality of our physiological senses such as touch, smell and sight. The most interesting part of being a formulator is the fact that you can "be in control" of a creation, to see it evolve and come to life. What I also particularly appreciate is following a scientific approach: making a hypothesis and then verifying it in practice. It is a job where strong expertise certainly comes into play, but there is also permanent learnings regarding technical advancements in this industry and discoveries in terms of active ingredients.
Dermaceutic is a company on a human scale, where friendliness and a great atmosphere can always be found. Internal team events are organized regularly (team building, team lunch), which makes the atmosphere more pleasant. As a young company, we are constantly on the move, with opportunities for quick advancement. Our small number of employees contributes to the tight cohesion between most of the staff. Unique qualities in my job put me at the heart of the company, positioning me as the central piece between product development and market launch. As a regulatory affairs manager, I have a front-line strategic and decision-making role in the company. Mastering regulations requires the ability to analyze and interpret them correctly in order to orient and guide product development choices. As a result, I am the technical expert who defines the regulatory framework to ensure product compliance. I love my job because of these qualities of expertise and the crucial role that the regulatory manager has in the company.
Having worked for several years in fundamental research laboratories, and having a PhD in biology, reintegration into the French beauty industry could have been complicated. But Dermaceutic made the difference. Three years ago, I joined the company, which recognized my scientific and technical skills in the service of the French industry. Thanks to the open-mindedness of a multi-national team, I was quickly integrated and was able to benefit from all the necessary tools, such as specific training to achieve our objectives. At the heart of a caring company that listens to its talents, my experience at Dermaceutic is part of a proactive approach to secure the presence of our products on the market for our loyal patients and partners. My mission is to establish the basis for a European technical and regulatory strategy to respect the application of regulations in the development of products, their approval, and their distribution on the market. One of our successes in recent years has been the implementation of CE certification for our professional peels as class IIa medical devices.

Today, as head of the marketing and digital department, I work with all the members of the Dermaceutic team to develop a strong and aspirational brand image. It's a challenging and innovative job that directly contributes to the development of Dermaceutic, which is successfully renewing itself. With my team, we analyze the market, determine the targets, set the objectives to be reached as well as the main axes of writing and communication. As guarantors of the brand's DNA, our mission includes products, merchandising, promotional actions and visibility through digital actions on the website, social networks and e-commerce. Ensuring a coherent positioning of the product lines by differentiating the professional world of cosmeceutical care is part of my challenge by imagining packaging design with the graphic designers and by working on the texts resulting from the scientific knowledge passed on by our R&D department, who master the art of formulation. In close collaboration with the sales department, I enjoy defining the marketing plans to develop sales. Anticipating new trends, seizing market opportunities and activating the most relevant actions drive my daily work.
Dermaceutic is the smallest company I have ever worked for and what really drives me is that it could be one of the biggest. I am proud to be a part of Dermaceutic as it grows. I love being part of a team that is culturally diverse and has a strong and true commitment.
As kind as he is demanding, our director requires us to be creative at all times, in the design of our initiatives, their organization, communication and management. I set up and monitor clinical investigations on Dermaceutic products.
As soon as I arrived at Dermaceutic, I was able to appreciate the friendliness of all the teams.
After more than 10 years in the field of clinical research (as clinical trial coordinator in the pharmaceutical industry, but also in hospitals and private investigation centers), the only thing I can say is that I'm delighted to bring my experience and clinical expertise to Dermaceutic to clinically prove the dermatological benefits of using all our products and especially our professional peels.
